Thyme Iced Tea Recipe: Sweet and Refreshing Peach Flavor to Cool You Down in the Summer

Here are the ingredients you'll need and Step by step instruction to prepare a cold tea:

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe peaches, chopped into chunks
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 Tea Bag ( red, green or Jasmine)
  • 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 6 cups of just boiled water
  • 3 Heallie Thyme Tea Bags
  • Ice
  • Fresh thyme or mint for garnishing
  • Peach slices for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, combine the chopped peaches, 1 cup of water, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, blend the mixture using a stick blender.
  2. In a large bowl or jug, add the Heallie Thyme Tea Bags and just boiled water. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes based on how strong you want it , then remove the tea bags and let it cool.
  3. Fill a large jug with ice and pour the pureed peach mixture into the bowl with the tea. Stir well and pour the mixture into the jug.
  4. Top the jug with fresh thyme or mint and peach slices for garnishing.
  5. Chill the peach and thyme iced tea in the refrigerator until it's cold.
  6. Serve over ice and enjoy!
